Your scope and daily tasks
- Key interface between the Product Development and Operations/Quality department
- Responsible for the management of capacity and workload for the department Engineering of Projects
- Leading the department allocated project engineering groups with respect to:
- Realization of basic and detailed design customization for projects, interconnection with auxiliaries and EPC, technical input and support for the sales team
- Detailed design and specification for procurement
- Optimization and standardization of the design done by development
- Providing project and technical leadership to the team, manage the recruitment, talent management and career paths
- Ensure industrialization of products in close collaboration with the Product Development
- Develop and introduce tools, processes, KPIs of the Engineering of Projects
- Responsible for the safety of the products
- Ensure standardization of the products
- Ensure support to internal and external manufacturing is provided as such technical support for the procurement
Your profile
- Engineering degree or a science doctorate from a leading institution
- at least 5 - 10 years experience in industrializing products
- Experience from a large organization in terms of exposure to processes and methods, or experience of highly growing businesses
- An additional education background in project management certification is a plus
- Experience in leading multicultural teams
- Fluent in English, German is a must, Italian or French is a plus
- Willingness to travel
