Your scope and daily tasks
- Technical leadership for assigned projects under execution in collaboration with the project manager, customer facing
- Technical management of a team of engineers from different disciplines (process, plant, mechanical, electrical, automation, civil, suppliers etc.)
- Coordination and delegation of tasks and engineering packages within the team or to subcontractors while ensuring compliance, quality and schedule
- Management of the basic and detailed design phases and preparation of technical documentation (PIDs, PFDs, data sheets and specifications, layouts, manufacturing drawings, etc.)
- Handling of inquiries, clarifications and problem solving for all technical disciplines to suppliers and customers
- Technical building and steering of a team of engineers alongside with the various phases of a project from kick-off to Site Acceptance
- Preparation of reports and support in the preparation of offers
Your profile
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the engineering team and/or in the role of technical manager in the oil and gas industry, the chemical industry or a similar Industry working on EPC
- Completed technical studies in the fields of mechanical engineering/process engineering/automation/chemistry, or a comparable education with several years of relevant professional experience
- Very good communication skills and teamwork in an intercultural environment
- Very good MS Office skills
- Skills in design software such as Plant3D or SolidWorks as an advantage
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent written and spoken English and German; knowledge of Italian or French is an advantage
