Your scope and daily tasks

• Technical leadership for assigned projects under execution in collaboration with the project manager, customer facing
• Technical management of a team of engineers from different disciplines (process, plant, mechanical, electrical, automation, civil, suppliers etc.)
• Coordination and delegation of tasks and engineering packages within the team or to subcontractors while ensuring compliance, quality and schedule
• Management of the basic and detailed design phases and preparation of technical documentation (PIDs, PFDs, data sheets and specifications, layouts, manufacturing drawings, etc.)
• Handling of inquiries, clarifications and problem solving for all technical disciplines to suppliers and customers
• Technical building and steering of a team of engineers alongside with the various phases of a project from kick-off to Site Acceptance
• Preparation of reports and support in the preparation of offers
  

Your profile

• Several years of relevant professional experience in the engineering team and/or in the role of technical manager in the oil and gas industry, the chemical industry or a similar Industry working on EPC
• Completed technical studies in the fields of mechanical engineering/process engineering/automation/chemistry, or a comparable education with several years of relevant professional experience
• Very good communication skills and teamwork in an intercultural environment
• Very good MS Office skills
• Skills in design software such as Plant3D or SolidWorks as an advantage
• Willingness to travel
• Fluent written and spoken English and German; knowledge of Italian or French is an advantage
• To move forward in our environment in constant motion, you need to be solution-oriented & agile
• To have a result-oriented spirit, ownership & sense of initiative at every level of the company
