Your scope and daily tasks

• Operational organization and optimization of area-related activities in compliance with the allocated funds, resources and budgets
• Area-related data collection, analysis and evaluation including the definition and monitoring of KPIs for the materials department
• Definition and implementation of rules and procedures for the area to be managed
• Management of inventory control and planning, including the coordination of physical inventories
• Implementation and tracking of the project procurement plan
• Determination of supplier selection criteria
• Development and maintenance of supplier scorecards
• Preparation of the order proposal and order initiation as well as order processing
• Selection of the supplier according to the bill of materials / process plan and issuing of the order in compliance with the delegation of authority (DOA)
• Management of a team of project buyers, transport & logistics and warehousing buyers

Your profile

• Master Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent + 5 years experience in similar position
• At least 3 years of managerial experience in a similar position
• Experience in leading a multi-disciplinary / multi-cultural team
• Agility and capacity for work in a dynamic and changing environment
• Process oriented, clear thinker, strategist
• Ability to run a global function with right level of strategy, people management, process and tools
• English and German are a must, French or Italian a plus
• To move forward in our environment in constant motion, you need to be solution-oriented & agile
• To have a result-oriented spirit, ownership & sense of initiative at every level of the company
