Scope of the position
Testing, Validation & Reporting of executed tests. Develop calculations and systems with dedicated softwares. Analyse data for further Improvement.
Main responsibilities
- Guarantee the definition of Routine and Type Test Procedures, Test Plan and Test program and the implementation and management of validation activities;
- Perform the test according to European and International standards, depending on the type of component under test, defining test layout and detailed procedure;
- Perform special tests required by our Customers and/or the Manufacturer of the component under test;
- Define tech specifications and/or design the test equipment needed to perform the tests;
- Periodically check the calibration status of the test instrumentation and manage the instrumentation set so to maintain it efficient and under calibration;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as the manufacturing team to identify areas of improvement and develop solutions to technical challenges;
- Analyze, and communicate results in a clear and effective way to the team to address further research developments;
- Ensure the delivery of the Validation report;
- Maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment.
Main skills & profile
- Knowledge of Renewable Energy, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with a particular focus on the electrolysis process;
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards;
- Experience in process optimization and standardization;
- Focus on safety, maintenance and operability of process plants;
- Teamwork in an intercultural environment;
- Ability to think logically and critically;
- Demonstrated aptitude for systems thinking and creative problem solving;
- Ability to work effectively in both a self-directed and team environment;
- Dynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences;
- Willingness to travel;
- Strong research orientation and passion for innovation.
Required Knowledge
- Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering;
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience in the field of activity;
- Knowledge of MATLAB and LabView Software;
- Exceptional data analysis skills;
- Very good MS Office skills as well as relevant industry software;
- Fluent in written and spoken English;
- Hands-on experience in a laboratory or prototyping environment, familiarity with electrolyzer components, experience with electrochemical devices (fuel cells, electrolyzers, batteries) will be considered a plus.
