Scope of the position
The goal of the R&D Laboratory Technician is to design, develop and optimize process plants for the production, treatment and use of hydrogen
Main responsibilities
- Perform and interpret laboratory tests focused on technological tests of liquids and gases also through the use of advanced equipment.
- Assemble small laboratory systems.
- Perform analysis, chemical-physical measurements and process the acquired data.
- Implement new experimental protocols dedicated to research activities.
- Take care of the maintenance and calibration of equipment both through interaction with different suppliers, and by personally performing routine activities, such as cleaning and calibrating equipment, replacement of spare parts.
- Implement and manage the HSE aspects of the laboratory in compliance with current regulations and company standards.
- Manage the company database (NAV ; Access).
Main skills & required knowledge
- Technical Diploma, preferably with a chemical-industrial address; Mechanical-mechatronic-energy or electronic-electrotechnical diplomas may also be considered.
- 3 years of experience preferably in the chemical field.
- Knowledge of the office package, in particular in the use of complex spreadsheets, the ability to program e.g. Tia Portal/LabView environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of English
- Knowledge of P&ID and PFD (Process Diagrams) and Wiring Diagrams
- Knowledge and skills in the use of Instrumentation for Electrical and Chemical Measurements
- Knowledge of MS Office main applications (Excel, Word)
- Teamwork in an intercultural environment
- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment

- Pragmatism and problem solving skills
