Your role & mission 

Within the Product Management team, based in McPhy Electrolyzer Engineering Center in Wildau (close to Berlin), you will contribute through a 6 monthes internship to the definition of McPhy electrolyzer product strategy by investigating and evaluating electrolysis technologies, both based on McPhy and competition portfolios.

Your main responsibilities

• Investigation of competitor electrolyzer technology and gap analysis with McPhy technology
• Analysis of design and materials
• Understanding of associated technical challenges and subsequent industrialization challenges
• Identification of potential solutions
• Identification of supply chain strategy (sourcing, make or buy strategy, investments in Gigafactories, etc) in Europe and in other geographies
• Total Cost of ownership calculation and competitiveness assessment
• Product segmentation strategy

Your profile

• Enrolled in a Master Program of university studies in engineering with a focus on process technology, plant engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable professional training.
• Knowledge of the water electrolysis process
• Interest in deep technology evaluation, benchmark, market understanding
• Very good MS Office skills
• Fluent written and spoken English and German; Italian or French are an advantage
