Your role & mission
Within the Product Management team, based in McPhy Electrolyzer Engineering Center in Wildau (close to Berlin), you will contribute through a 6 monthes internship to the definition of McPhy electrolyzer product strategy by investigating and evaluating electrolysis technologies, both based on McPhy and competition portfolios.
Your main responsibilities
- Investigation of competitor electrolyzer technology and gap analysis with McPhy technology
- Analysis of design and materials
- Understanding of associated technical challenges and subsequent industrialization challenges
- Identification of potential solutions
- Identification of supply chain strategy (sourcing, make or buy strategy, investments in Gigafactories, etc) in Europe and in other geographies
- Total Cost of ownership calculation and competitiveness assessment
- Product segmentation strategy
Your profile
- Enrolled in a Master Program of university studies in engineering with a focus on process technology, plant engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable professional training.
- Knowledge of the water electrolysis process
- Interest in deep technology evaluation, benchmark, market understanding
- Very good MS Office skills
- Fluent written and spoken English and German; Italian or French are an advantage
